Monday Morning Moan

Where do I start?

I suppose I should really start by explaining that this is really a Julia and I thing. (Julia, my friend from work, we have a car share arrangement. Generally based on, whoever's car is least broken drives.) And we love a Monday morning moan. There will undoubtedly be more on Julia and more on the car/cars, but back to it.

Me and Julia, we know how to live!

Firstly, it's 4am and I am wide awake, which doesn't bode well for 9am when I will most definitely be wanting to go back to bed.

Especially, as we are now entering our 5th full week back at school and the children still won't listen!

You see, that's problem with being a good T.A, it's that you care and you care a real lot! Great grammar there 🤯 - my mind is blown by grammar, I really like to use it but I also really like to break the rules....But I do care and I try really hard and I'm a team player and I work well with my teacher and I get to know the kids and I come up with different ideas to help keep them focused and engaged and all I want is for them to love me. Not obviously in a literal sense. Just in a Wendy (my teacher and one of my bestest friends) is a wicked witch and I'm the fun, friendly one. This I think is totally fair as Wendy does get paid alot more than me!

However, this is not the case. This I feel, is a battle of endurance, a battle of wills and a battle I now need to prepare for. Apply the war paint and hopefully survive another day.

Day One Edition

Welcome to our little piece of Internet life. We are just two ladies- well just two 30 somethings, who want to share our crazy lives with you. Hopefully you can relate to some of it and laugh or cry along with us. Between us we have 2 husbands, 4 children and a cat. This in itself seems fairly normal, however as most of you will appreciate, is far from it!

Hi I'm Sheridan, the amazing blonde. I have been married for 11 years to M. I have a 13 year old daughter known only as A and an almost 10 year old son, for the purpose of this blog to be known as O. I work full time as a Teaching Assistant and spend my entire life surrounded by children. When I am fortunate enough to escape I mainly enjoy drinking (oh and stress cleaning/tidying anything and everything).

Hi I'm Gemma, the other one 😂, and have a husband of almost 10 years, S. My eldest daughter known as C is also 13 and my youngest daughter, T, is almost 4. I have known Sheridan since our eldest daughters started school 9 years ago and we can regularly be found at the pub together! I've been a stay at home mum for the last 4 years but have recently set up my own business making children's clothing whilst T is at preschool in the mornings.
